Race Format

Gravity Enduro is the Perfect MTB Race Format

Gravity Enduro combines the thrill of downhill racing with the adventure of cross-country, creating the perfect balance of high-speed descents and purposeful pedaling. Whether you’re racing for a podium, pushing for a personal best, or riding with your mates, Gravity Enduro delivers a competitive, social, and rewarding experience built around exceptional trails.

How It Works

  • Timed Stages — Each round features 3–5 race stages where riders compete against the clock on fast, technical descents.
  • Liaison Stages — Between race stages, riders transition at their own pace with generous cut-off times.
  • Race Result — Final results are determined by combined stage times, creating exciting competition without excessive fatigue.

Expect and enjoyable weekend and riding some of the best trails in Victoria.

Series Results & Points

  1. Riders must complete at least two rounds to qualify for a category series result.
  2. Riders who complete all rounds will drop their worst round result, with all other rounds counting toward the overall series result.
  3. Race results are calculated by combining total stage times within each category. The fastest cumulative time wins the category for that round.
  4. Points are awarded based on finishing position within each category and accumulated across the series.
  5. The rider with the highest total points at the end of the series is recognised as category winner.
  6. Riders must compete in the same category at each race to generate a valid series result.

Tie-Break Process

  • If riders are tied on points, total series points across all races are compared.
  • If still tied and riders competed in the same events, overall combined race time determines ranking.
  • If riders did not compete in the same events, the series placing is shared.
  • DNS results are not recorded.

Incomplete Events

  • Riders who miss a stage receive a default time of 25 minutes for that stage.
  • A rider missing one stage will rank below all riders who completed all stages.
  • Riders missing multiple stages receive 25 minutes per missed stage and rank below riders who completed more stages.
  • This system allows riders to still receive points and generate a series result even if they do not complete the full course.

See you at the races!
